DPRK: Seoul is 'dodging mounting criticism'

The DPRK has once again slammed South Korea for its decision to deploy the THAAD system, saying Seoul is 'dodging the mounting criticism.' Pyongyang's Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland said South Korea is being "utterly indifferent to the national dignity and interests."

The committee also criticized Seoul for its pro-American policy. It said Seoul is facing opposition from both the public and international society. Last Wednesday, the DPRK denounced South Korea for hyping up the North's nuclear and missile threats to justify its decision. The DPRK fired two ballistic missiles into its east waters last week to protest against the THAAD deployment.
