CCTV9英语新闻:Bulls edge Pacers 92-87

Derrick Rose and the Bulls closing in on the overall top seed. Chicago would be in Indiana and got off to a strong start - Carlos Boozer doing his thing from 18 feet. Bulls up early.

Boozer would then become the playmaker setting up Joakim Noah for the dunk. Bulls led by 13 at the half. But the Pacers would go on a 7-nothing run in the second half to close the margin.

Chi-town would answer that run, with one of their own, and push the margin back up to double-digits. Defensively, the Bulls were rock solid on the night -- the steal at one end leads to a fast-break dunk at the other end for Rip Hamilton.

Indiana would make another push in the fourth quarter, thanks to Lance Stephenson. He had a career-high 22. But Chicago would get contributions from their bench as Kyle Korver would find the range and keep the lead in double digits.

Korver would finish the night with 20 points as the Bulls hold on for a 92-87 win and close in on the top overall seed in the NBA.

If the post-season started today, these would be the match-ups. In the East, Chicago would take on Philly. An intriguing 2-7 battle sees Miami take on the always dangerous New York Knicks. Indiana will be favoured against Dwight Howard-less Orlando, while Boston takes on Atlanta. The Celtics get home-court over the Hawks, by virtue of winning their division.

In the West, San Antonio will take on Utah. Oklahoma City will have to go through the defending champion Dallas Mavericks to get to the second round. The L.A. Lakers will face Denver, but will be without Metta World Peace for 6 games as the NBA as suspended him 7 for his elbow the other night on James Harden of the Thunder, and Memphis will have home-court advantage against the L.A. Clippers.
